Joromi
Case Study Summary
In this human resource management case, Joromi as the protagonist was involved in an 'out of office' and presumably private conflict situation. The situation invariably found its way into the popular press where the name of Joromi's employers were mentioned. As a show of disapproval and in a bid to protect the company's image, Joromi's employers - being one of the topmost Banks in the country - quickly disciplined him through dismissal. The dismissal was immediately challenged by Joromi's human rights Lawyer and the labour union to which he belonged.LBS Author(s)
